A Series Isobus

Isobus connectors are used in agriculture to connect the tractor to the trailer and to exchange data between the various agricultural devices. Within the A Series, Amphenol offers Isobus connectors that are widely used and compliant with the ISO 11783 standard.

ISO 11783 defines the physical characteristics such as connectors and cables as well as the type of participants and the data formats and interfaces of the network for agricultural data bus applications. The basis of this standard includes the protocols SAE J1939, NMEA-2000, and the older standard DIN 9684.
