heavy|mate® – Housings
The heavy|mate® housing portfolio offers a wide range of housings and matching accessories for the common sizes A3 to E48. The mounting layouts of the bulkhead housings comply with market standards.
Standard housings: Classic bulkhead, base, and hood housings with single, double, or central locking levers, available in protection classes IP65 and IP67
EMC housings: Featuring a special EMC coating and shielding band on the machine side for high signal integrity, used in sensitive environments
Screw-lock housings: Known from railway applications. When screwed together, these housings provide sealing up to IP68/IP69K and high vibration resistance
Plastic housings: Available in different versions, particularly recommended at power transmission to enhance user safety
Upon request, all housings can be manufactured with various cable outlets featuring metric (M) or PG threads. The metal housings can also be painted in custom colors to match your application.
A special highlight are our “SST” housings, offering 1,660 hours of salt spray resistance and guaranteed corrosion protection, making them ideal for use next to the sea
The portfolio is complemented by the guide|mate® Rack & Panel system (IP20), into which contact inserts and frames can be integrated. For protected environments, DIN rail adapters and screw adapters are also available.
